Memuzin River

Mem has worked as an independent filmmaker and composer for many years. He has an interest in social justice issues and the plight of the homeless both in Australia and Internationally. From overcoming immense odds in his own childhood, Mem formed a longstanding relationship with the charitable organisation Open Family and it’s founder Father Bob Maguire. Father Bob has been a mentor and collaborator to Mem and they have worked tirelessly together to help many other streetkids rise above their situations. Mem was an Open Family outreach worker and this unique training in human observation has given Mem’s documentary work a very human and personal edge regardless of the subject matter.
